VMP2 TDC tensioners

TDC Tensioner and Nub for Vorsk VMP-2

The TDC in the VMP-2 has quite a narrow tip, so when it presses upon your hop-up rubber bucking patch it may not be perfectly centered, these tiny little pieces are designed to address that, and to give improved accuracy and hop-up capability by distributing the pressure from the TDC adjust across a larger postion of the bucking.

It comes with two versions :-

The Long One - With an Ankh logo - This is a drop in addition, it gives immediate improvements and requires no changes. Note that the hop will bite much earlier in it's range, so careful you don't over hop. Just make sure the tip of your TDC screw is sitting squarely in the cup ontop.

The Short One - With a Sabre head logo - This is designed for use with a 3rd party nub, one recommended for your bucking, it goes inbetween the TDC screw and the nub. You do need to shorten your TDC to compensate for the distance added by the nub you installed.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

If you opt to use the 3rd party nub holding version, there may be cases where you will need to file down the end of the TDC screw so that it can get deep enough to engage with the indexing nub (The clicky thing). It’s advisable that you do this in small increments until a positive engagement occurs.

Furthermore, care should be taken not to screw the TDC screw in too far or you may damage your hop up rubber.
