These nubs were designed for the VMP2 hop up chamber, out of the box it uses a TDC screw that directly contacts the hop rubber, this is bad for a few reasons such as only having a 3mm contact area, twisting and pushing into the hop rubber, and not allowing you to use any aftermarket nubs such as the Maple Leaf Omega Nub or the 4uantum Friction Pro Nub! Compounding the problem is that the opening into the chamber for contact is a circle, breaking many conventions in airsoft hop up chamber design.

So we designed this little doohicky to solve that! In the package will be two different nubs.

The first of which provides a curved surface to press against the BB whilst it’s in the chamber, and provides an even distribution of force over it from the TDC screw.

The second one is a bit smaller and has an arch designed to match around the 4uantum Friction Pro Nub (not included) which will also work with others such as the Omega Nub (not included) or a normal tubular bucking.

In addition, both versions have an arm that prevents the pieces from rotating and falling out of alignment by indexing against the convenient slot in the top of the chamber

Update

Now shipping a flexible Nylon resin version, this material should be tougher and more resilient to impact as it has a slight flex to it.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

If you opt to use the 3rd party nub holding version, there may be cases where you will need to file down the end of the TDC screw so that it can get deep enough to engage with the indexing nub (The clicky thing). It’s advisable that you do this in small increments until a positive engagement occurs.

Furthermore, care should be taken not to screw the TDC screw in too far or you may damage your hop up rubber.
